San Antonio’s fall arts and culture lineup includes festivals, performances, exhibitions and Día de Muertos celebrations from September through November.

San Antonio’s fall arts and culture calendar will feature festivals, performances, exhibitions and other cultural experiences at venues across the city, according to the City of San Antonio.

The seasonal lineup includes events celebrating local artists, longstanding traditions and the city’s connections to cultures around the world. The City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture said the activities offer residents and visitors opportunities to explore creative communities while supporting local artists, cultural organizations and businesses.

Among the events are a Sept. 9–13 festival celebrating and promoting the San Antonio Missions, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, at various locations. On Sept. 12, Chris Park at Ruby City will host a two-hour performance using sound, movement and reflection inspired by spiritual and cultural traditions.

Events celebrating Mexico’s independence from Spain in 1810 will take place at various locations from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. Other September activities include an evening of art, poetry, yoga, illuminated works and vegetarian cuisine at Woodlawn Lake on Sept. 19, along with performances at Civic Park in Hemisfair on Sept. 24 and 25.

The fall calendar also includes a film festival running Oct. 2–4, Halloween-themed activities at The DoSeum throughout October, and a Japanese cultural celebration at Camargo Park on Oct. 3 featuring Ikebana and Bonsai displays, food, music and performances.

At Centro de Artes, an exhibition inspired by the history of Centro de Artes and Historic Market Square will run from Oct. 15 through March 7, 2027. Centro de Artes is free and open to all. A Mole-focused food event is scheduled for Oct. 15 at Centro Cultural Aztlan, while a production of Roberto Forleo’s Dracula will be presented Oct. 23–24 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.
