San Antonio Offers Zero-Interest Loan Sessions for Small Businesses

The City of San Antonio and LiftFund will host two virtual information sessions for small business owners interested in the renewed Zero Percent Interest Rate Loan Program.

The sessions are scheduled for October 28 and November 12, 2026. Prospective applicants can learn about program requirements and the application process during the sessions.

Loan applications open Monday, November 2, 2026. The program allocates $500,000 to reduce interest costs on loans ranging from $500 to $50,000 for eligible businesses within San Antonio city limits, with a focus on opportunity zones.

Priority will be given to businesses that have been unable to secure traditional commercial financing and those planning to create at least one full-time job.

The City and LiftFund have provided more than $13.1 million in funding to 430 local entrepreneurs through their partnership since 2016.
