In May, the World Heritage Center launched a Legacy Keepers Series program focused on preserving family history and connecting people to local expertise and organizations that specialize in genealogy, cultural heritage, and preservation.
In partnership with the Office of Historic Preservation (OHP), Charles Gentry, Ph.D., a local historian, shared more about the many programs and resources that the City of San Antonio offers. Dr. Gentry provided information about OHP and its efforts to protect historic, cultural, architectural, and archaeological resources in the city.
The World Heritage Office invites the community to attend the Legacy Keepers Series and learn more about family history and genealogy, cultural heritage, and preservation. All events are free and open to the public.
