New Event Seed Library Grand Opening for Seguin, TX
The Seguin Public Library is excited to announce the grand opening of its Seed Library on Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at the library.
This new resource, developed in partnership with the Guadalupe Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas, aims to promote sustainability and community engagement by providing residents with the opportunity to grow their own plants and contribute to local biodiversity.
The grand opening celebration will include the opening of the Seed Library, a presentation about the diverse seeds available in the library, and an overview of the Seed Library’s rules and operations.
The Seed Library will operate on a “borrow and return” model, allowing patrons to take seeds home, grow them, and return seeds from their harvest to share with others.
