May is Military Appreciation Month

This month is a time designated to honor and recognize the contributions, sacrifices, and service of the members of the armed forces, past and present. In San Antonio, also known as Military USA, we acknowledge the military community year ’round. Veterans play a role in our economy as well, as business owners. We encourage everyone, while supporting local businesses, to look to veteran-owned businesses as well. They make up a part of the City’s small, minority, and women businesses in our community. We salute our active-duty service people and retired veterans, their families, and the businesses they drive to support our economy.
