The wait is almost over! The Guadalupe County Fair & Rodeo, one of Texas’ oldest and most beloved community traditions, kicks off on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Seguin Events Complex, 950 S Austin, Seguin, TX 78155.

Since its founding in 1883, the Guadalupe County Fair has brought families, neighbors, and visitors together for a celebration of agriculture, rodeo thrills, live entertainment, and community pride. This year’s fair promises another action-packed lineup with mutton bustin’, cattle ropin’, horseback riding, carnival rides, kid-friendly activities, and live music.

Event Highlights

  • Rodeo Excitement: From bronc busting to roping, the rodeo is a staple of the fair and always draws big crowds.
  • Family Fun: Kids can enjoy interactive games, carnival rides, and plenty of fair food favorites.
  • Community Parade: The spectacular parade showcases local organizations, marching bands, floats, and more, highlighting the best of Seguin and Guadalupe County.
  • Royalty Events: The fair will crown its queens, recognizing young women who embody the spirit of the community.
  • Scholarship Support: Through the 1883 Scholarship Donation Program, the fair continues its mission of supporting local youth in agriculture.

The Guadalupe County Fair would not be possible without the tireless work of its many volunteers. Special thanks go out to the Seguin High School ROTC, who will once again provide the color guard for the opening ceremony.

Make plans now for the second weekend in October and join the fun where community spirit shines bright.
