The City of San Antonio is encouraging local business owners and operators to participate in a new survey aimed at helping shape the city’s future economic development strategies.
City officials say the survey will gather valuable feedback from businesses across San Antonio and provide insights that will help guide policies designed to strengthen economic growth, improve resilience, and support the local business community in the years ahead.
The survey is being conducted on behalf of the City by TIP Strategies, an Austin-based economic strategy consulting firm that specializes in economic development, workforce planning, and community growth initiatives.
According to the City, responses will help leaders better understand the needs, challenges, and opportunities facing local businesses. The information collected will be used to inform future economic development efforts and ensure San Antonio remains a competitive place to start, grow, and operate a business.
Officials emphasized that participation is completely confidential. No identifying information will be collected, and all responses will be reported only in aggregate form.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes or less to complete, making it a quick opportunity for business owners to provide input on issues that could influence the city’s economic future.
As San Antonio continues to experience population growth and business expansion, city leaders say feedback from the private sector is critical in developing strategies that support job creation, workforce development, infrastructure investment, and long-term economic sustainability.
Business owners are encouraged to complete the survey before the deadline and help ensure their perspectives are included in the planning process.
The survey will remain open until Friday, June 26, 2026, at 5 p.m. Central Time.
