San Antonio will bring City Council public comment meetings into neighborhoods through the temporary City Hall to All program from October 2026 through January 2027.

The City of San Antonio will launch City Hall to All in October, bringing public comment opportunities into neighborhoods during a temporary program running through January 2027.

The program was created in response to Council Consideration Request (CCR) 2026-0005, City Hall to All, filed by Councilmember Teri Castillo. Results are expected to be reported in February 2027.

Meetings will take place on select Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Some sessions will be held at City Council Chambers, while others will be hosted at rotating neighborhood locations.

The format and rules for public comment will remain the same throughout the temporary program. Residents will be able to share thoughts, concerns and ideas about City business with City Council.

Council members will listen to public comments during the sessions but will not respond to or discuss the comments at that time.

Advance sign-up is required for residents who want to speak. Participants may sign up online in advance or in person 15 to 45 minutes before a meeting begins. Residents who arrive at the start of a meeting without signing up will not be able to speak.

The neighborhood meetings are intended to give residents an opportunity to participate in public comment closer to where they live during the City Hall to All program.
