Leon Valley families are invited to celebrate the season Texas-style at Cowboy Christmas, taking place on Sunday, December 7, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the historic grounds of the Huebner-Onion Homestead, located at 6613 Bandera Road. This festive community event is free to attend and offers fun for all ages.

Guests can enjoy classic holiday favorites including tamales and apple cider (while supplies last), festive carolers, exciting door prizes, and games throughout the afternoon. One of the event’s highlights will be photos with the Grinch, making it a perfect outing for families looking to kick off the holiday season with some playful fun.

Parking is available at Leon Valley City Hall, located at 6400 El Verde Road, just a short walk from the festivities.

In the spirit of giving, attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped gift to support Leon Valley’s Blue Santa Program, which helps local children and families during the holiday season.

Cowboy Christmas blends community spirit, holiday cheer, and Texas charm—Leon Valley hopes to see you there!
