San Antonio Animal Care Services is urgently seeking dry dog and cat food, litter and other supplies for the SAACS Pet Pantry. Donations help qualifying families keep their pets at home.

San Antonio Animal Care Services is urgently seeking donations of pet food and supplies for the SAACS Pet Pantry, which helps qualifying families facing hardship continue caring for their companion animals.

Dry dog food, dry cat food and litter are the program’s most immediate needs. Other pet supplies are also welcome. Donations help San Antonio pet guardians care for their animals and may prevent pets from entering the shelter when their families need temporary assistance.

Items requested by the SAACS Pet Pantry are listed on the program’s Amazon wish list.

Donations can be dropped off seven days a week during regular business hours. San Antonio Animal Care Services is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.

The pet pantry supports the city’s effort to help keep animals with the people who love them while providing practical assistance to families experiencing hardship.
