SEGUIN, Texas – The City of Seguin is inviting the community to come together for a State of the City presentation on Tuesday, September 30 at the Seguin Coliseum. The free, come-and-go event will be a chance for residents to hear directly from city leaders, connect with their elected officials, and learn more about the exciting projects and progress happening in Seguin.
The evening kicks off at 6 pm with a presentation from Mayor Donna Dodgen and City Manager Steve Parker, highlighting ongoing initiatives, and what’s ahead for Seguin’s future.
After the presentation, from 7 to 8 pm, residents will have the chance to meet their City Council members and visit with leaders from multiple city departments—including Police, Fire, Parks & Recreation, Capital Projects & Engineering, Planning, Economic Development, Public Works and more. Department directors will be on hand to share updates, information, answer questions, and provide resources about city programs and services.
“This event is really about connecting with our residents in a meaningful way,” said Jennifer Sourdellia, Public Information Officer for the City of Seguin. “We want the community to feel informed, involved, and excited about what’s happening in Seguin.”
“While we encourage everyone to attend the event in person, the State of the City presentation will also be available to watch via a livestream on the City of Seguin Government Facebook page,” said Sourdellia.
The State of the City presentation is designed to be both informative and interactive, giving residents an inside look at the progress being made across Seguin and what lies ahead for the community.
