D7 News: Back to School is HERE!
August is just around the corner as we prepare for a new school year. I’m proud to invite you and your family to our District 7 Back-to-School event, designed to support students and families across our community.
This is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, access resources, and help our kids start the school year ready to succeed.
Event Details:
📅 Saturday, August 2, 2025
🕘 9 AM – 12 PM
📍 Sul Ross Middle School (3630 Callaghan Rd.)
What to Expect:
- Free backpacks and school supplies (while supplies last)
- Free produce bags provided by the San Antonio Food Bank
- Free Health Screenings and an optional liver screening courtesy of Texas Liver Institute*
*A 4-hour fast is required for screening. - Music, family-friendly activities, and valuable resources from local organizations
